On 16 September 2014, the Parliament finally adopted the Lustration Bill. The second Ukraine's President signs the Bill it has to be implemented. However, even now the Government shall stick to norms of the Bill especially when it comes to appointment of Yanukovich's supporters to work for the Government, which is opposed by the public, especially in Kyrovohrad.
Those drafting parties' election lists for the preliminary Parliament elections should not ignore lustration rules. Unfortunately, adopted Bill is a compromised version and does not apply to those who holds or claims to hold elective positions (because many of those people are supporters of Yanukovich and former members of the "Party of Regions").
"Svoboda" will do everything possible for the implementation of the Bill and will also propose some important changes to the Bill after the Election. Those changes will exclude the possibility for any Government employee to fall under the radar of lustration.
