"Svoboda" demands from the Government to make the agreement signed in Minsk public.
Real peace in Donbas is possible only when the Ukrainian territory is completely cleared from Russian terrorists and occupants. The "ceasefire" period must provide us with the opportunity to regroup forces in the war against invaders.
Russia is clearly interested in the new ceasefire because:
1. It will help to absolve them of responsibility for a large-scale invasion of the regular Russian army units to Ukraine, and prevent new Western sanctions against Russia ;
2. Russia wants to achieve a de facto recognition of terrorist organizations "DPR" and "LPR" as representatives of Donbas, and thereby legitimize the Russian occupation of this part of Ukraine (similar to Pridnystrovya "independent republic").
Accepting such conditions drafted by Putin means we are voluntarily giving up a part of Ukrainian territory and national sovereignty in favour of the aggressor.
I am sure that people of Ukraine will never accept such peace, especially if they are required to surrender.
This is not the first time when ceasefire in Donbas was declared, and never did it lead to any positive changes for us. The memory of the "10-days ceasefire" in June and the "humanitarian convoy" of Putin is still fresh.
We cannot afford to be naïve and to believe in peaceful agreements with Moscow. "Si vis pacem, para bellum" (if you want peace - prepare for war).
Ceasefire is a chance to regroup our forces in order to win the war we are facing. Subsequently, we have to: prepare to declare the martial law, including economic changes; clear our Government from supporters of the enemy and corrupt persons; improve our Army and continue mobilisation; receive precision weapons and other military support from our western allies.
We all wish the war to end. However, we have to understand that we cannot achieve it by concessions to the aggressor. The only way to achieve stable peace and security for Ukraine is to counter the enemy!
